Looking back on 2025 I can say what a blessing this year has been. The addition of Julia, my daughter who is the youngest of my children, as a full time tuner has really helped. It has allowed me to focus on keeping my regular tuning clientele on their regular tuning schedules. Eleanor, my next to the youngest, continues to work in doing shop work and being my main helper with piano moves. Elijah and Jesse, who live in New Albany, Indiana, have been working hard this year crafting their piano tech skills in anticipation of joining our cadre of piano technicians. We hope to soon be able to take care of all of Southern Indiana’s piano care needs.
And speaking of moves, the piano moving business has taken off. It seems to be driven by Google searches and reviews and by word of mouth. So please keep spreading the word. Our piano moving trailer has seen some upgrades to make piano moves safer and easier. On many moves, especially larger grands, both Eleanor and Julia work with me. Clients are continually amazed at the efficiency the girls exhibit in working together and getting it done. Every move seems to have its own unique twist requiring outside the box thinking.
We have also been able to facilitate the sale of several pianos this year. The folks at Antiques at the Meadows in Terre Haute have partnered with us to display some of our beautiful pianos with astounding success. We literally cannot supply pianos fast enough for the demand. This is an area of growth we hope to expand in the coming year.
Additionally we have been able to connect prospective buyers with the fine folks at Piano Solutions in Carmel Indiana. They have a huge selection of new and used pianos at every price point. Great people with which to deal.
So today we launch 2026, looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us and our piano clientele. We are very grateful for your loyalty, and for the sense of family that we find at each household. I often brag that piano clients are the absolute best. Thank you for choosing us. We hope to keep your piano in top shape for many generations to come.
We are working to bring the world into harmony, one piano at a time.
Thank you for the 2026 update! Sounds like things are doing well on all fronts, tuning, moving and sales. And it’s so great to see your kids involved in the family business.
